Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette has ruled out an exit from the Stade Gerland in next month's transfer window.

The 23-year-old, who has been linked with a number of clubs, including Arsenal and Liverpool, wants to continue his adventure with Les Gones.

Lacazette has been in fine form for Lyon this term, scoring 14 goals in 17 Ligue 1 games and his words will give the club a boost.

Lacazette told L'Equipe: "For my part I have not expressed a desire to leave.

"It seems obvious to me to stay and continue with this project."

However, while Lacazette wants to stay put, Lyon may find refusing a big money bid for the striker tough to do.

The Ligue 1 giants are continuing to battle financial issues and have proved vulnerable to losing key players in recent years.
