Serie A giants Roma remain interested in Tottenham Hotspur defender Vlad Chiriches, but could face opposition from Juventus for the centre-back's signature.
The Giallorossi are firm fans of the Romanian defender and believe there will be an opportunity to pluck him from White Hart Lane next month.
Roma, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, want to take the Romania international defender on loan until the end of the season.
The Serie A side also want an option to buy building into the deal. However, Juventus are also keeping a close eye on developments regarding Chiriches, as they aim to strengthen their defence.
Chiriches landed at Tottenham last summer from Steaua Bucharest.
