Paris Saint-Germain are looking to bring in Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone next season, according to French outlets L'Equipe and Le Parisien.

The French champions' 3-1 loss to Barcelona in their final Champions League group stage match on Wednesday has weakened present boss Laurent Blanc’s position at the club.

Although Blanc is expected to remain with PSG for the 2014/15 campaign, the Parc des Princes outfit are considering Simeone for the managerial post next season.

As per reports in the French media, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has already held discussions with the entourage of the Argentine.

Simone guided Atletico Madrid to La Liga last season and also helped Los Rojiblancos to reach the final of the Champions League, where they lost 4-1 to their bitter rivals Real Madrid.
