Palermo defender Ezequiel Munoz is the subject of interest from three Premier League clubs ahead of the opening of the January transfer window.

The 24-year-old Argentine has turned heads with his performances in Serie A and is now wanted by Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.

Munoz is a key man at Palermo, however the Italian side are aware they may not be able to resist an approach from England.

Newcastle and West Ham have been monitoring Munoz for some time, but Tottenham's interest is more recent, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, being fuelled by a potential departure for Vlad Chiriches from White Hart Lane.

The Romanian defender is wanted by Roma, who are eyeing signing him on loan with a view to a permanent move.
