Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc feels his side were too generous towards Guingamp in their loss yesterday.

Champions PSG lost their first league game of the season as Jeremy Pied scored Guingamp's only goal at home.

Marseille’s loss away to Monaco didn’t allow them to build their lead over the Parisians in the league table, but Blanc was still annoyed with the manner of defeat.

The PSG manager feels his side were too generous and should have been more aggressive while dealing with Guingamp's threat.

“We were too generous towards Guingamp, I didn’t like that”, Blanc told the club’s official site.

“There was a lack of aggressiveness in our play and we gave away a set-piece to concede the goal.

“We need to be more careful about the fact that nothing is guaranteed. We will be looking to improve and end the year on a more positive note.”

PSG remained second, a point off league leaders Marseille and Guingamp moved up to 13th in the league table.
