Former Fiorentina midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino believes that Tottenham Hotspur are scary in name only and is sure his old club can put the English outfit out of the Europa League.
Fiorentina have been drawn against Spurs in the last 32 of the European tournament and the Premier League outfit have been installed as favourites to progress.
D'Agostino, who turned out for Fiorentina between 2010 and 2011, believes that his old club should approach the tie with every confidence however.
"The important thing is that there should not be a lot of goals in the first leg because English teams struggle more away", he told Firenzeviola.it.

"I do not believe that Tottenham are favourites. Fiorentina's technical level is good and I believe they can reach the next round", he continued.
"There is every chance of doing well.
"Tottenham can be scary in name only and thinking about the differences between English football and Italian football.
"But La Viola can do it."
