Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao has reiterated his desire to stay on with the club well beyond the 2014/15 season, but admitted the final say will not be had by him.

The Colombian international joined the Red Devils on loan from French outfit Monaco this summer, but has seen his spell interrupted by injury so far.

The 28-year-old though insists that he is happy to live in the city and wants to stay well beyond this season to become an integral part of the Manchester-based club.

"I am very happy in this city, in this club and I am enjoying it here. I really want to stay", Falcao told Press Association Sport.

The former Atletico Madrid player though reveals that the final decision will depend on how much playing time he gets at the club and what decision the powers that be at Manchester United take.

"From my point of view, I'd like to carry on.

"But obviously I have to analyse the situation, see if I play more and see what decision the board takes."

Falcao has managed eight Premier League appearances for Louis van Gaal's team this season having scored a single goal. He has also provided his team-mates with two equally important assists.
