Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson was ecstatic after his side beat Accrington Stanley at home to book a meeting with Manchester United in the third round of the FA Cup.

Two late goals from Simon Gillett and Kieffer Moore helped the League One side to overcome Accrington in a second round replay at Huish Park last night.

They will now host the 20-time league champions Manchester United in the third round of the FA Cup on 4th January.

The Glovers manager admits that the pressure last night was immense as they were aware of the fixture that awaits them in the next round.

A visit from Manchester United will also set the cash registers ringing at Huish Park and Johnson did concede that the club hierarchy were anxious to get a positive result.

"The pressure was on because everyone in Somerset wanted Manchester United to come down to Huish Park”, Johnson told BBC Radio 5 live.

"Because of the prize nobody wanted to make a mistake.

"I think all the board of directors were on their knees for 90 minutes, praying that we'd win. They'll be very proud of their football club."

The two clubs have played each other twice in the FA Cup, with Manchester United winning 3-0 in January 1938 and 8-0 in 1949.
