Mario Balotelli has not travelled with the Liverpool squad for tonight's League Cup quarter-final clash against Bournemouth.
The Reds head to the south coast looking to book a spot in the semi-final of the tournament, but will have to find a way past the Championship league leaders to do so.
And Liverpool will also have to do without Balotelli, despite him featuring in Sunday's 3-0 defeat at Manchester United.
Balotelli has been troubled by a groin problem since November, which was picked up on international duty with Italy.

The striker is still looking to score his first Premier League goal for Liverpool following his £16m switch to the club from AC Milan in the summer.
The Reds will hope he can quickly recover in time for their busy festive period.
