Pep Guardiola has praised Bayern Munich’s attacking qualities after his side posted another win in the Bundesliga last night.

Arjen Robben opened the scoring with his 100th goal for Bayern Munich in the 41st minute against Freiberg and then shortly after the break, Thomas Muller doubled their lead to secure all three points.

Bayern Munich have stretched their unbeaten run in the Bundesliga to 20 games and are going into the winter break as strong favourites to defend their league title this season too.

Guardiola praised Freiberg’s defensive tenacity, but feels his attackers had too much about them to not get the win last night.

“I’m very pleased”, the Spaniard told the club’s official site.

“Freiburg did very well defensively, but we were excellent in attack. We had 13 clear-cut chances and their keeper made some very good saves.

“Great credit to my players, and now we need to take the final step in Mainz.”

Guardiola has now won 42 of 50 Bundesliga games in charge of Bayern Munich, losing just twice.
