Chelsea midfielder Oscar feels the festive period is set to be packed for the Blues, while he is not underestimating the challenge ahead.

Oscar's side currently sit top of the Premier League and booked their spot in the League Cup semi-finals earlier this week with a comfortable win over Derby County.

The games are set to continue coming thick and fast for the Blues as the Premier League does not enjoy a winter break, unlike several other leagues across Europe.

Oscar is though relishing the occasion, which he is sure will be a big test.

"It isn’t nice to leave your family behind, but this is our job and we hope we can make the Chelsea supporters happy over Christmas.

"In a short space we have five important matches, four in the Premier League against Stoke, West Ham, Southampton and Tottenham and then the FA Cup also.

"All of those matches will be difficult for us. I have played in England long enough to know Stoke is a physical team and a stadium with a big atmosphere, which is difficult to play in", the Brazilian continued.

"West Ham and Southampton are both having a very good season and Tottenham is a big derby match. We won against them recently but we know anything can happen and they will want to show they are a strong team in their own home."
