Liverpool are eyeing a summer move for Palermo’s Argentine striker Paulo Dybala to bolster their attacking options.

The 21-year-old striker joined the Serie A outfit in the summer of 2012 and has become a key member of the Palermo squad.

Dybala has been in fine form for the club this season, scoring seven goals in 15 league appearances and is one of the top scorers in Serie A this term.

His performances in Italy have managed to attract interest from various quarters, including Liverpool, whose strikeforce has failed to fire in all cylinders in this campaign.

Liverpool have been keeping a close eye on the striker’s exploits in Sicily and are pondering over making a move for the 21-year-old.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Liverpool are ready to wait until next summer before approaching Palermo with a bid.

The Reds are keen to give their underperforming strikers an opportunity to redeem themselves in the second half of the season before making a big money move for another forward.

And with Dybala’s contract expiring in 2016, Liverpool feel Palermo will be under pressure next summer to sell the striker or risk losing him for free.
