Attacking midfielder Adam Lallana has been Liverpool’s best player in the current season, according to club team-mate Kolo Toure.
Lallana was signed by Liverpool after being one of the standout performers of Southampton’s eighth place finish in the last season’s Premier League. His consistent displays saw him win both the Saints’ Players' Player as well as Fans’ Player of the year awards.
It also earned him a move to Liverpool for £25m in the summer, where he has played in his customary attacking midfield position.
The England international missed the start of the campaign through injury, but has earned plaudits for his displays since his return.

After another good performance from the midfielder, Liverpool centre-back Kolo Toure told the club’s site: “For me, Adam has been the best player in this Liverpool team this year. Definitely".
In his 10 Premier League appearances for the Merseysiders he has contributed with two goals and an assist.
On Sunday, in what promises to be a tantalising league match, Liverpool will play Arsenal, where they will look to win in order to maintain their quest for a top four finish.
