Jurgen Klopp claims that his Borussia Dortmund team are still fighting after they conceded a late goal against Wolfsburg last night to only manage a draw.

Naldo scored in the 86th minute to earn a point for second-placed Wolfsburg in a match that looked to be going in Dortmund’s favour after Ciro Immobile fired his side into the lead in the 76th minute.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened the scoring for BVB in the first half before Kevin De Bruyne equalised for Wolfsburg in the 29th minute.

The point was not enough for Dortmund to pull out of the bottom three and they are still 16th in the Bundesliga table on 15 points.

Despite the draw, the Dortmund manager was happy with his team’s performance against a quality side like Wolfsburg and said that they still have fight left in them.

“We are still alive, we can still match the best, but we have not forgotten our struggles”, Klopp was quoted as saying by SportBild.

“It was an intense game against a very good team. Wolfsburg are in top form and are playing some very good football.

“We have done very well today and that is alright for now.”

Before the Bundesliga goes into its winter break, Dortmund will take an away trip to Werder Bremen on Saturday.
