Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal could name Angel di Maria on the bench when his side take on Aston Villa this weekend.
Di Maria missed the Red Devils' 3-0 win over Liverpool on Sunday, but he is again back in the reckoning to feature, just in time for the packed Christmas period.
However, Van Gaal is keen to emphasise that Di Maria has only just returned to training.
"He has trained this week with us but he’s not match-fit after one week", Van Gaal told a press conference.

"Maybe I shall select him for the bench, or maybe not.
"I have to make my decision because we have one training [session] to go."
Van Gaal's men are on a six game winning run at present, which sees them sitting third in the Premier League standings.
