Arsene Wenger says that Theo Walcott, Nacho Monreal and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain face assessments tomorrow before being declared fit to face Liverpool.

Arsenal head to Anfield hoping to inflict further pain on Brendan Rodgers' struggling side, but will have to make do without defender Laurent Koscielny.

They could though have Monreal, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Walcott – if the trio can prove their fitness tomorrow.

"Nacho Monreal, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be assessed tomorrow", Wenger told a press conference this morning.

"Koscielny is out", he added.

Wenger also admits he knows Liverpool are much less potent than they were last season, when they blew Arsenal away at Anfield.

"Last year Liverpool scored over 100 goals. Now they're not on the same trend.

"They came off the blocks very strong last time", he added.
