Goalkeeper Joe Hart has put pen to paper on a new contract at Manchester City.

The England custodian has committed his future to the English champions until the summer of 2019.




Hart has been quick to express his delight, telling the club's site: "I’m really happy, I’ve been here a long time now and I want to keep that going.

 


"The new deal means I get to stay longer – the club’s doing amazing things at the moment, we’ve created history and we want to keep doing that", he continued.

Hart joined Manchester City from Shrewsbury Town in 2006 and has made 276 appearances for the club so far since his debut on 14th October, 2006.
