Liverpool are hoping to bring in Divock Origi from Lille six months ahead of schedule, something the French club may be prepared to agree to.

The English giants snapped up Origi from Lille in the summer, but as part of the agreement loaned him back to his former club for the entire season.

But with Liverpool struggling in the Premier League and goals becoming a genuine issue, the pressure is growing to bring Origi in early.

According to AFP, Liverpool are pushing to do just that and their original agreement with Lille did provide for Origi arriving in January.

Liverpool would have to pay an extra €6m for Origi to arrive early, but Lille are understood to be willing to consider the option, due to financial difficulties.

All eyes are now on Liverpool and their next move ahead of the opening of the winter transfer window.
