Leeds United head coach Neil Redfearn believes his side might need to change their style of play to get results away from home.

The Whites have lost seven of their ten league fixtures on the road, winning only once and Redfearn has been talking about improving their form away from home.

Ahead of their trip to Nottingham Forest this weekend, the Leeds head coach admits that something needs to change to allow them to get positive results away from Elland Road.

Redfearn admits that he might need to change Leeds’ style of play on the road as the same methods are not providing adequate results.

Though he admits that it is important to maintain a certain brand of football, Redfearn stressed results are also important to allow them to move up the table.

"For whatever reason, we just can’t over the line now away from home”, the Leeds boss told LUTV.

“If that’s the case of us changing our way of playing a little bit, changing the mentality to be a little bit tougher, then so be it.

"We’ve got to do whatever it needs to get where we want to be. But it’s got to have our DNA running through.

"There’s no point in us playing a certain way just to be a certain sort of side because it doesn’t suit the majority.”
