Celtic manager Ronny Deila admits that his side's form has been inconsistent this term, but he is convinced they are on the right track.

The Bhoys have hit a winning streak in the Scottish Premiership, but suffered defeat in their last two Europa League games, going down against Red Bull Salzburg at home and Dinamo Zagreb away.

Deila's men next fact Dundee United away on Sunday and the Norwegian feels that his team's performances are heading in the right direction.

He told a press conference: "Our form has been up and down, but it is going in the right way.

"We have improved as a team and individually.

"If we continue in that way then we will get better performances and results."

Deila though is not underestimating the threat posed by Dundee United on Sunday.

"They defend hard, with a good team spirit, and are good on the counter attack."
