Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino says he is "very happy" with Harry Kane's progress at the club and believes it is "normal" to see the striker scoring.

Kane was on target this afternoon at White Hart Lane and scored Tottenham's first goal in their 2-1 win over Burnley.

Spurs' second goal in the Premier League fixture came via a beautifully struck shot from Erik Lamela.

Post-match Pochettino was keen to pay tribute to Kane and expressed his happiness at the talent's progress.

Pochettino told the BBC: "It's becoming normal now that Harry Kane has scored.

"We are very happy with him.

"He worked very hard and scored a goal, which is very important for the striker."

The Argentine also believes that an England call-up may not be out of reach for Kane, remarking: "I wish for my player the best, but Harry has big potential and he's a big talent, why not?

"If he continues to play in the same way, maybe the opportunity will come for him to play for the national team."
