Arsene Wenger has rubbished talk that Arsenal were in for Mario Balotelli in the summer and claims not to know the Liverpool striker too well.
The Gunners were linked with the Italy international over the summer months, but Balotelli popped up at Liverpool before the transfer window closed on a £16m move from AC Milan.
He has struggled at Anfield and is yet to score in the Premier League for his new employers, while there has also been continued off the pitch focus on him.
Wenger, asked about Arsenal wanting Balotelli, denied being in for the hitman.

And he feels the situation with Balotelli is sensitive.
"He's been in England before", Wenger was quoted as saying by ITV.
"He is a very sensitive subject, because it's an interesting subject.
"I don't know him at all."
