Roma and Juventus are both pushing to snap up Xherdan Shaqiri from Bayern Munich.

Shaqiri, who has been regularly linked with Liverpool and saw a move to Anfield vetoed by Bayern Munich in the summer, has grown increasingly disillusioned at the Allianz Arena.

The Swiss winger wants regular first team football and is unhappy at not being considered a key player by boss Pep Guardiola.

Guardiola recently stated his belief that Shaqiri will not leave Bayern Munich in January, but several sides want to test the Bavarians' resolve.

According to Italian daily Leggo, both Roma and Juventus want to snap up Shaqiri and are hoping to convince Bayern Munich to sell.

However, should the Bundesliga champions choose to part with the Switzerland international, a number of other clubs would be likely to enter the mix.
