Roberto Mancini has repeated sporting director Piero Ausilo's claim that Inter are not at all interested in signing Aaron Lennon from Tottenham Hotspur.

Lennon has been mooted as a January transfer window target for the Serie A side, but Ausilio earlier today insisted that the winger is not the type of player the club are looking for.

And Mancini, speaking following Inter's 2-2 draw with Lazio at the San Siro this evening, backed up the sporting director.

"About Lennon", Mancini told Sky Italia, "we have never talked about him."

"He is not part of our plans for the transfer window.

"There will be other players, if we can get them."

Following their draw with Lazio, Inter sit eleventh in the Serie A standings with 21 points from 16 games, well adrift of their aim of a top three Champions League qualifying spot.
