Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen has spoken of his desire for his side to bounce back against Ross County, as the Bhoys look to prove their character after their loss to Dundee united.

The Hoops' eight-game winning run in the league came to a halt as they succumbed to a 2-1 loss to Dundee United at Tannadice on Sunday.

And now as they prepare to host Ross County next weekend, Johansen feels that his team need to show character like any other big team to return to winning ways.

"It was a game we wanted to win, but couldn’t do it. They scored two easy goals, but we had enough chances to win the game so it’s disappointing", the 23-year-old told his club's official site.

“Good teams bounce back right away so we will just focus on training well and focus on that game because we want to get back on the winning run."

Johansen also took time to talk about their next opponents, who according to him defend well and then focus on counter-attack, causing problems to their opponents.

“Ross County always try to defend and then counter-attack.

"But if we do our own things well enough, then we should beat them and that’s what we have to focus on."

Celtic currently lead the Scottish league table with 38 points from 17 matches and hold a four-point advantage over second placed Dundee United.
