Arsenal and Chelsea target Talisca has played down any prospect of a quick exit from Benfica.

The Brazilian attacking midfielder only joined the Portuguese giants in the summer, but his sensational performances have had scouts flocking to the Estadio da Luz.

Arsene Wenger's Arsenal and Jose Mourinho's Chelsea have both been linked with Talisca. However, the Brazilian feels remaining at Benfica is the best move for his career at present.

"This is the right club for me to continue to develop", he told Portuguese daily A Bola.

"Here the football is different to Brazil and a bit of adaptation is needed.

"I'm getting better every day", he added.

Talisca has made 14 appearances in the Primeira Liga for Benfica so far this season, scoring on eight occasions.

The 20-year-old also hit the back of the net in Benfica's Champions League campaign.
