Another side have joined the race for Sassuolo striker Leonardo Pavoletti, who is one of Leeds United's primary transfer targets for next month.

Leeds chased Pavoletti intently over the summer, but missed out on his signature after the striker decided to remain with Sassuolo.

The Whites have been tipped to return next month, with sporting director Nicola Salerno admitting president Massimo Cellino and himself are firm fans of the hitman.

However, a number of sides are eyeing keeping Pavoletti in Italy. And their number has just swelled.

The latest side on Pavoletti's tail are, according to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, none other than Torino.

The Serie A outfit have struggled to score goals this season, registering just 12 in 16 league games, fewer even than bottom side Parma. And they are convinced Pavoletti can help solve their goalscoring problems in 2015.

Sassuolo meanwhile are hoping to convince Pavoletti to extend his contract at the club. It expires next summer.
