Marcos Rojo has stated that Manchester United are an incredible football club and believes that he has settled down very quickly in his new surroundings.

The Argentine international defender arrived at Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon this summer, after a difficult period of negotiations between the two clubs.

Though it took some time for him to get his work permit in England, Rojo quickly settled down in the Manchester United backline before he suffered a dislocation in his shoulder last month.

Currently sidelined with a different injury, Rojo is happy with his first few months at Old Trafford and believes he has settled down in his new surroundings quicker than expected.

He added that Manchester United’s form over the last month or so has also helped the new signings to feel more comfortable at the club and believes the squad have managed to gel well after a difficult start to their campaign.

“It’s all going well”, Rojo told the Boxing Day edition of the United Review.

“I’ve settled in really quickly and I like the city a lot. The football club is incredible. I get on really well with my team-mates and they treat me well.

“And, what’s more, it’s even better now we are on a run of winning almost every game.

“It’s good because quite a few of us all arrived at the same time so that means we’re all together and we are learning together at the same time.

“We have English classes as well and are having a laugh together at the same time as we are learning.”

Manchester United will host Newcastle United later today at Old Trafford.
