Celtic midfielder Nir Bitton is satisfied with the way the current season has turned out for him so far.

The Israel international has become a feature in the Celtic midfield with his assured performances in tandem with the club captain Scott Brown

Bitton has credited his team-mates and the club manager Ronny Deila for instilling confidence in him which has reflected in his performances on the pitch.

“I’m in good form just now, but it’s not just me, it’s all the team. Like every player, no one can play well if the team doesn’t play well and the full team has helped me a lot”, he told Celtic TV.

“For a football player, nothing is bigger than confidence and when you get that you will perform better and I hope I can continue like that.

“The manager gives me confidence. In the last few weeks I have spoken to him a lot and he tries to explain what he expects from me."

Bitton will look to continue his form when Celtic play Ross County in the league tomorrow.
