Saint-Etienne have waved away interest from Arsenal in their captain Loic Perrin.

The Gunners have been linked with launching a bid to snap up the experienced defender, who can also operate in midfield, but Saint-Etienne have yet to receive an offer for their talisman.

And according to local daily Le Progres, Saint-Etienne's directors have made clear that Arsenal would be wasting their time in bidding for the 29-year-old.

Saint-Etienne have vowed that Perrin will complete the current season at the club, with no offers being entertained.
