Arsene Wenger has denied that Lukas Podolski is on the verge of leaving Arsenal and claimed no one is imminently exiting the Emirates Stadium.

Podolski has grown frustrated with kicking his heels at Arsenal this season and is thought to have agreed to join Italian side Inter if they can do a deal with the Gunners.

Wenger does not want to lose the Germany international however and is trying his best to keep him in north London.

"No there is nothing concrete there", he told a press conference following Arsenal's win over West Ham, when asked about talk Podolski is leaving.

"At the moment nobody goes out.

"We have [Mesut] Ozil coming back now at the beginning of January, so of course there is a lot of competition up front", Wenger added.

Podolski was left on the bench throughout Arsenal's win at Upton Park, despite striker Olivier Giroud being suspended.

The German is thought to be meeting Arsenal officials tomorrow to discuss his future.
