Liverpool have offered Lille €4m to take Divock Origi to Anfield ahead of schedule.

Origi was snapped up by Liverpool from Lille last summer, however the terms of the agreement meant that the Belgium international would spend this season back on loan at the French side before moving to Anfield in the summer of 2015.

But Liverpool want Origi this month, amid Daniel Sturridge's continuing injury problems and manager Brendan Rodgers' reluctance to play Mario Balotelli.

According to French sports daily L'Equipe, Liverpool have offered €4m to Lille in order for Origi to head to Merseyside now.

The Belgian has scored three times in 16 Ligue 1 matches so far this term.
