Lille's president Michel Seydoux insists that as things stand Divock Origi will remain at the club until June.

Liverpool signed Origi last summer from Lille, but as per the terms of the agreement loaned him back to complete the season with the Ligue 1 club.

The Reds want to bring Origi in early and have been linked with paying Lille an extra €6m to do so.

But Seydoux says Liverpool have made no official proposal and he is banking on the striker remaining at Lille for the rest of the season.

"I have not received any official offer from Liverpool", Seydoux explained to La Voix du Nord.

"There is nothing new to report at Lille, no new departures, no arrivals, just a loan return [in Abdoulay Diaby] and we will formalise that after the African Cup of Nations.

"For now, Divock Origi is at Lille and we're counting on him."
