Fellow Italian outfit Napoli will now have full ownership of the player and pay a fee in the region of €13m, to be split between Sampdoria and Juventus, each having 50 per cent ownership of the player.

The Bianconeri will be paid their share of €6.25m over the course of the next four years.

The player is thus set to leave Juventus without ever having played a match for Massimiliano Allegri's team.

The 23-year-old managed a total of 15 matches for Sampdoria this season, having scored nine goals and has also provided his team-mates with a lone assist.

He earned his first senior cap for the Italian national team in 2012, playing in the second half of a friendly against England in Bern and has since played one more match for the Azzurri.
