Wesley Sneijder’s agent Guido Albers has revealed that in no circumstances are Galatasaray ready to sell his client this month.

Juventus tried to negotiate a deal with the Turkish giants for the Dutch playmaker last week, but Galatasaray remained adamant that he would not be sold.

Albers also tried to act as a mediator between the Italian champions and Galatasaray, but has failed to convince the club to sanction Sneijder’s sale.

The Dutch international’s agent revealed that the club have said an emphatic no to the question of selling Sneijder this month.

“The message was very clear and definite”, Albers was quoted as saying by the Algemeen Dagblad.

“They do not want to sell this month under any circumstances.”

With presidential elections in May, it is believed that president Unal Aysal does not want to irk the fans by selling Sneijder this month.

The Dutchman might have to bide his time until the end of the season to seek a move away from the Turkish giants.
