Bayern Munich are keeping a close eye on Bayer Leverkusen’s 18-year-old winger Julian Brandt.

A product of Wolfsburg’s youth academy, the teenager joined Leverkusen in January last year and has made a quick impact at the club.




At 18, Brandt already has 20 Bundesliga appearances under his belt and is attracting interest from some of the top clubs in Germany and abroad.

 


Regarded as one of the bright young talents of German football, the winger has attracted the attention of Bayern Munich and according to Sport Bild, the club are keeping track of the youngster’s progress.

It is still unclear whether the German champions are planning a swoop for Brandt this month or next summer, but the club are expected to keep monitoring his progress.

Brandt is a regular Germany Under-19 international and has already played in the Champions League for Leverkusen.
