QPR manager Harry Redknapp is confident ahead of their Premier League encounter against Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United and called it a game to relish.

The Hoops, who are precariously sitting 19th in the Premier League table, will take on the Red Devils, who are 15 places above them, but Redknapp is confident they can give them a tough fight.

Redknapp’s optimism is based on their good form at Loftus Road, where they have given a scare to the teams residing above them in the league table.

“We are at home, we gave Manchester City a good game and almost won the match, we also gave Liverpool and Swansea tough time before conceding at the end”, he said at a pre-match press conference.

However, he added that his team will need to be at their best to challenge Van Gaal’s men.

“We have to be up for it and give our best in order to get all three points from the match.

“It is always a good game playing against a big team like Manchester United, a game to look forward to”, he concluded.

QPR will need a positive result from the match to be played on Saturday in order to strengthen their fight to stave off relegation.
