Goalkeeper Mathew Ryan has sent a come-and-get-me message to Liverpool following speculation that the Premier League giants are keen on snapping him up.

Ryan currently turns out in Belgium with Club Brugge and has attracted Liverpool's attention, with talk Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is keen for him to be signed.




Such talk is music to Ryan's ears, the Australian knowing a switch to Anfield would be a big step forward in his career, though he stresses he is happy in Belgium.

 


The Australian was quoted as saying by Tutto Mercato: "It's nice to read in the newspapers that sides like Liverpool are looking at you.

"I am happy at Club Brugge, but obviously I want to prove myself.

"It would be great to take another step forward in my career."

The 22-year-old was snapped up by Club Brugge from Central Coast Mariners in 2013.
