Gonzalo Higuain has played down speculation that he could quit Napoli, with Liverpool having been linked with the striker.

Higuain's brother has already dismissed suggestions he has held talks with Liverpool and now the striker himself has declared his happiness at Napoli.

The former Real Madrid man, who chose Napoli ahead of a move to Arsenal in the summer of 2013, scored the only goal in his side's 1-0 win over Lazio today, which sees them sit third in Serie A.

Asked about transfer speculation by Sky Italia after the match, Higuain replied: "I am happy here.
