Paris Saint-Germain are stepping up their interest in Manchester United target Paul Pogba and are ready to table a €75m offer for the Juventus midfielder in the summer.

It has been claimed that Manchester United have already made an €80m bid to Juventus for the 21-year-old and seemingly have the edge in the race to acquire his signature.




Real Madrid are also believed to be ready to make an audacious €100m offer at the end of the season to sign one of the most coveted midfielders in world football.

PSG, who hold a long-term interest in the French international, were believed to be hamstrung by UEFA's financial fair play regulations.
 


However, according to French radio station RMC , the French champions are not ready to take a backseat n the chase for Pogba and club owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi is cobbling together a €75m offer for the Juventus midfielder in the summer.

The Parisians have already made their intentions known to the player’s agent, Mino Raiola, when they met recently to discuss the contract renewal of PSG full-back Maxwell, also one of Raiola’s clients.

Juventus are bracing for a major assault on Pogba in the summer and though they are desperate to hold on to their star player, they also realise that they don’t have the financial muscle to resist several European heavyweights.
