Manchester United are ready to rival Real Madrid in the chase for young AC Milan midfielder-cum-forward Hachim Mastour.
The Rossoneri are desperate to keep hold of 16-year-old and have already promoted him to the senior squad on several occasions this term, for a taste of the big time.
Indeed, coach Filippo Inzaghi has included Mastour on the bench for Serie A clashes against Lazio, Sassuolo and Atalanta, though the starlet is yet to make his senior Serie A debut for the club.
Real Madrid are keen on following up their capture of another 16-year-old in the shape of Martin Odegaard by doing a deal for Mastour. But according to Spanish radio station Cadena COPE, Manchester United are poised to rival Los Blancos for the Italian.

The pair face a fight to take Mastour away from the San Siro however, where he is highly rated by AC Milan.
Mastour though is set to have his loyalty tested with a potentially lucrative offer on the table if he chooses to continue his development away from Italy.
Real Madrid recently handed Norwegian starlet Odegaard a contract worth €2.25m per year.
