Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that his players should feel "ashamed" after being dumped out of the FA Cup 4-2 at home against League One side Bradford City.

It took just 21 minutes for Chelsea to take the lead at Stamford Bridge when defender Gary Cahill scored. And that was quickly followed up by a second from Ramires in the 38th minute, putting the hosts in control.

But Bradford gave themselves a lifeline before the break when Jon Stead hit a neat 18-yard shot in the 41st minute.

The League One outfit then stunned Chelsea in the 75th minute through Felipe Morais, while further goals from Andy Halliday and Mark Yeates had Mourinho's men reeling and knocked out of the FA Cup.

And the Portuguese was left fuming at the defeat.

He told the BBC: "What happened is football and football is beautiful. I think this is the beauty of football where a much better team can lose, which is difficult to happen in another sport and more possible to happen here in this country and this sport.

"The small team mentality is special. My respect goes to that and to them, they did a fantastic history for them and their club.

"I repeat a word I used before this match – It's a disgrace for a big team to lose to a small team from a lower team.

"We must feel ashamed, me and the players must feel ashamed. Frustration is not the right word, embarrassed would be more appropriate."

Chelsea's hopes of winning all four major trophies on offer this season are now over.
