Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino admits he is disappointed with his side's FA Cup exit this afternoon to Leicester City.

Pochettino saw his men grab the lead in the encounter at White Hart Lane when Andros Townsend converted from the penalty spot in the 19th minute.

It was a lead that Spurs held for most of the match, seeming on course for victory when Leonardo Ulloa drew the visitors level in the 83rd minute, scoring his ninth of the season.

And Spurs were then stunned after Jeffrey Schlupp hit a volley in injury time, turning in a cross from Danny Simpson and putting Pochettino's men out of the FA Cup.

Totttenham dominated possession, enjoying 60 per cent of the ball, and also had more shots on goal that the visitors, registering 16 to Leicester's 11, leaving Pochettino disappointed at the exit.

He told Spurs TV: "We are disappointed because we played well.

"When you have the opportunity to kill the game you have to do it."

And goalkeeper Michel Vorm echoed his manager's words, explaining Spurs only have themselves to blame for crashing out of the FA Cup.

"We have to blame ourselves. We had good chances and we were 1-0 up", he said.
