Juventus are preparing to throw everything at the capture of Edinson Cavani from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, according to Italian daily Tuttosport.

The Bianconeri have become convinced that the former Napoli striker is the man needed to push their side to the next level in 2015/16.

And despite being likely to face significant opposition for his signature, the Italian champions feel that a deal can be done for Cavani.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs in recent months, most notably Arsenal, with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger having been forced to deny being on the verge of signing the striker.

Juventus believe they have a trump card to play in their chase of Cavani, being well aware that PSG are desperate to land Bianconeri midfielder Paul Pogba.

Cavani has hit the back of the net 15 times in all competitions for PSG so far this season and is locked down on a contract at the Parc des Princes until 2018.
