Lazio president Claudio Lotito has again ruled out making a move to sign Mario Balotelli from Liverpool.

The Italian striker has been sidelined at Liverpool, with manager Brendan Rodgers telling him to shape up in training if he wishes to be considered for first team duty.




Balotelli has continued to be linked with leaving Liverpool this month, though successive clubs said to be keen on the striker have held off making a move.

 


And Lotito does not want to add fuel to the fire of talk Lazio are now in the hunt to sign the former AC Milan and Inter hitman.

Asked about Balotelli on Radio 24, the president replied: "We do not deal in dreams, but in solid realities."

Balotelli was not included in Liverpool's matchday squad for their FA Cup clash against Bolton Wanderers, which finished 0-0, yesterday, despite being fit to take part.

He cost Liverpool £16m to sign from AC Milan in the summer, but has yet to score for the Reds in the Premier League.
