Wolfsburg are continuing talks with Chelsea over signing forward Andre Schurrle, who is keen to move to the Volkswagen Arena.

The Bundesliga side have already lodged a bid of €30m for a man Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is not keen on losing in the current transfer window. And Wolfsburg are confident they can capture Schurrle before the window slams shut.




According to Sky Italia, talks between Chelsea and Wolfsburg, through intermediaries, are continuing.

 


Schurrle is keen on joining the Wolves, believing it would hand him regular first first team football, which has eluded him this term at Stamford Bridge.

And Chelsea are open to selling the German for the right price, but first want to line up a replacement.

It is also thought the English side want Wolfsburg to up their offer for Schurrle, deeming €30m to be below their expectations.

Chelsea snapped up the 24-year-old from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2013, splashing out around €21m to take him to Stamford Bridge.
