John Guidetti is moving towards an exit from Celtic as he holds out for other offers to come his way.

The Swedish striker is on a season-long loan at Celtic from Manchester City and has flourished in Scottish football, finding the back of the net regularly for the Bhoys.

Celtic boss Ronny Deila is desperate to keep hold of Guidetti on a permanent basis, spying an opportunity given the Swede's contract at Manchester City expires in the summer.

But according to Dutch outlet Voetbal Primeur, Guidetti is waiting to assess his options and waiting to see if a better offer than Celtic's comes his way.

Guidetti has also become annoyed at constant stories over his future appearing in the media, with quotes from people claiming to represent the striker.

The hitman took to his Twitter account to say: "Tired of people pretending to be my agent and speaking on my behalf …

"To clarify my agent is Paul Martin at Wasserman Media Group."

Guidetti has been linked with several other clubs in recent weeks, including Inter, where coach Roberto Mancini knows the striker from his time at Manchester City, and Marseille, who have sent scouts to watch him in action.

The 22-year-old has scored eleven goals in all competitions for Celtic so far this term, although in recent games he has endured something of a drought, being dropped to the bench for clashes against Hamilton and Motherwell as a result.
