Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has brushed aside talk of him being interested in signing Chelsea attacker Andre Schurrle and said that he doesn’t expect his club to be too active in the winter transfer window.

Schurrle’s future at Chelsea has been a source of constant speculation this month and it is believed that he is looking for a way out of the club after failing to nail down a spot in Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven.

There has been speculation that Schurrle is looking to move back to Germany and Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg are believed to be interested in signing the Germany international this month.

It has also been rumoured that Tottenham are closely monitoring his situation at Stamford Bridge and are keen on having their say in the transfer saga.

However, the Spurs boss sought to distance himself from such speculation and also added that he doesn’t believe the club will be too active during the last legs of the winter transfer window.
