AC Milan boss Filippo Inzaghi is not too keen on the club signing Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt this month.

The 25-year-old spent the latter half of last season on loan at the Rossoneri and is believed to be keen on returning to the club again.

Taarabt has made just five appearances in all competitions at Loftus Road this term and has stated that he wants to leave the club by the end of the winter window, while he was also publicly criticised for not being in shape to play by boss Harry Redknapp earlier this season.

Returning to Italy, especially AC Milan, is his preferred choice, but according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Inzaghi is not too enthralled at the idea of managing the Moroccan international.

The former Italian international is looking to make additions to his squad this month, but Taarabt’s fitness issues, coupled with his form at QPR, make for not a very tempting very tempting proposition for the AC Milan boss.

However, AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani is said to be ready to sign the player on a cut price deal, and his intervention might still prove to be crucial for Taarabt’s prospects of playing at the San Siro again.

And QPR are thought to be willing to usher Taarabt out of the door for the right price.
