West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison has arrived in Rome to undergo a medical before signing a contract with Lazio.

The mercurial former Manchester United midfielder has not seen a single minute of action at West Ham since returning from a loan deal from Cardiff City last month.

The Hammers are believed to be tired of the midfielder’s off field antics and are keen on seeing the back of him as soon as possible.

It has recently emerged that Lazio are interested in signing the player and the club have made rapid moves in the market to get the deal done for Morrison.

According to Sky Italia, the 21-year-old has arrived in Rome and will undergo a medical before signing on the dotted line with Lazio.

However, he won’t be joining the club until the summer as he has already played for two different teams this season and according to FIFA rules, he is barred from playing for another side for the rest of the campaign.

Morrison was a highly rated youngster at Manchester United and won the FA Youth Cup alongside Paul Pogba in 2011.

The 21-year-old will be hoping to revive his career in Italy with Lazio after failing to settle down at West Ham.
